WARNING: Counterfeit Safe-T-Alert Parts

Recently a counterfeit propane alarm (model 20-441-P-BL) and combination carbon monoxide/propane alarm (models 35-742-BL, 35-742-BR, 35-742-WT) has appeared on some online stores.

The product states it is Safe-T-Alert but was not manufactured or sold by MTI Industries, Inc. The sellers we are aware of include Amazon vendors AOLIK NICEman and RVDay. The parts look like this:

While the counterfeit units are intended to look as close as possible, if the price sounds too good to be true, it likely is.

If you purchased one of these parts, it may be counterfeit and we would like you to return it to the original seller for your money back. Please be aware that MTI has tested these counterfeit alarms and they do not meet UL Standards or State and Local laws for safety requirements.

Check your receipt and see if the seller was AOLIK NICEman or RVday.

If unsure about the product, email us clear images of the front/back, and we will confirm authenticity.

Please return the product to the seller stating that it is counterfeit and report it to Amazon.

Email us with proof of return of a counterfeit product and we will provide you with a discount code for a genuine replacement Safe-T-Alert.
