FL, OH- The Maldonado family said they’re lucky to be alive after a horrifying explosion that destroyed their house while they were still inside.
The family had just returned from trick-or-treating Thursday when the blast happened.
Jorge Maldonado was able to pull two family members to safety. He recalls saying, “I’m not going to leave you here. I am going to fight for your life. If you have to die, I am going to die with you guys.”
One victims remains in critical condition at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.
The family is thankful for their lives but they say the explosion took everything else
