Port Neches, TX- A Port Neches man was taken by helicopter to UTMB in Galveston with second and third degree burns, after the garage apartment he lived in exploded and caught fire at about Noon Monday.
The fire in the 1500 block of Dieu Street also damaged a neighboring duplex.
Investigators were looking into the cause of the blaze and suspected a natural gas explosion.
