LaVergne, TN – Officials now say they know why a local home exploded over the weekend. Bomb and arson officials with the state fire marshals office said a propane gas buildup in the LaVergne home led to the explosion. They have ruled the explosion an accident, but weren’t certain what caused the buildup. The homeowner was inside at the time and suffered minor injuries.
