Sandpoint, WA – A moble home in northern Bonner County was severely damaged by a propane explosion Wednesday night.

A Bonner County sheriff spokesman says that a woman turned on a stove in her home on Sitting Bull Road, north of Sandpoint near the Boundary County line, early Wednesday evening when some propane came in contact with a flame.

A blast followed soon afterwards, but the woman was able to get out of the single-wide trailer before the explosion. She was not injured.

The trailer is considered a total loss. The investigation of what happened continues.
