NY, NY – The 29-year-old woman critically injured in the Harlem gas explosion earlier this month has died from her injuries.
Alouf Hassan suffered burns to over 70 percent of her body in the blast in her building on 119th Street. Her four children were also badly injured in the explosion.
Fire marshals believe the explosion was caused by a natural gas leak. Lawyers for the family have filed a lawsuit against the building’s owner and management and Con Edison.
