Oakridge, OR – A fifth-wheel trailer exploded and caught fire just after 8 a.m. Tuesday. It was parked outside the Oakridge Motel just off of Highway 58. Two men were injured in the explosion. One man was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend and the other was airlifted to Portland. Although the state fire marshal has not released an official cause for the fire, eyewitnesses believe a propane tank in the trailer may have exploded.
