Marion County, AL- Waff – The ex-wife of a hunter who was burned in an explosion calls his survival no less than a miracle.
Believe it or not, 71-year-old Dan Roberts is already back at home.
Donald Roberts remains at UAB’s burn center with about 50 percent of his body burned.
Derrick Hood is also at UAB. His burns are on the upper half of his body.
The three men were on a hunting trip in Marion County Wednesday.
They were sleeping in their camper when it blew up.
“To see the camper, you’d think no one would ever survive. But they did. I just want everyone to pray and send their love and best to the family,” says Connie Roberts, ex-wife of Donald Roberts.
A leak in a propane tank may have caused the camper to burn.
