A man died at a hospital Wednesday morning from burns he sustained Saturday in a natural-gas explosion at a Tulsa apartment complex.
Thomas Bowen died from second-degree burns over 60 percent of his body, a Hillcrest Medical Center spokeswoman confirmed.
The explosion occurred at Comanche Park Apartments, 3608 N. Quaker Ave.
Another person also was taken to the hospital but was released Saturday, Fire Department reports show.
Multiple people reported to the Fire Department that they had heard a loud explosion about 7:20 a.m. Saturday. Firefighters at Station 24, about an eighth of a mile from the apartment complex, also heard and felt the explosion.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
