Currituck County, NC- A husband and wife are still recovering in the hospital after an explosion at the couple’s homes on the Outer Banks. The blast happened two days ago in Currituck County. Robert and Susan Longo both suffered extensive burns. The State Bureau of investigation determined the blast was caused when some propane gas vapor ignited. The couple still remains in critical condition at the Norfolk Sentara General Hospital.
