Chantilly, VA- Investigators are still working to determine what caused the gas leak that leveled a home Sunday in Chantilly, Va.

Neighbors reported the strong smell of gas at about 9 p.m.

As fire trucks were arriving, a home in the 4300 block of Lees Corner Road exploded.The parents and two little boys who live in the house weren’t home at the time.

Fire Investigators say the explosion was caused by a gas leak, but they don’t know where the leak started.

The house caught fire, partially burning neighboring homes, and the explosion sent debris flying.

While some residents were temporarily evacuated, they have been allowed back into their homes.No one was injured.
